Super Falcons player, Asisat Oshoala is confident that Nigeria would take their pound of flesh against the Cameroonian women's national team in the final of the 2014 African Women’s Championship on Saturday.
Cameroon defeated Nigeria 1-0 in the third place match of the 2012 edition of the championship, taking away the bronze medal from them.
The U-20 most valuable player at the FIFA U-20 world cup, Asisat Oshoala, says they will be going all out to seek revenge because Cameroon defeated Nigeria in the 3rd place game of the AWC in 2012.
” Two years ago we lost to Cameroon in the third place where we had hoped for a medal.But meeting them again like we did against South Africa inspires a get feeling. I think we’ll give the same fight in the final like we did against the South African.”
” I hope we come out victorious though, we’ll win but i won’t predict the scoreline,” she added.
