Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari is set to meet members of the two factions in the House of Representatives by 10pm today.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, confirmed the scheduled meeting according to PUNCH.
Yakubu Dogara, is expected to lead members of his group while Femi Gbajabiamila will also lead lawmakers that are loyal to him to the meeting.
The meeting is expected to hold at the First Lady’s Conference Hall inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
This is the first time Buhari will be meeting any of the leaders of the National Assembly since Dogara and the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, emerged contrary to the choice of the leaders of the All Progressives Congress.
The President may also be meeting Saraki any moment from now.
