The home of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was turned into a boxing ring during the weekend by two two top APC chieftains in the state.

Vanguard says Chief of Staff to Government House, Yola, Alhaji Abdurrahman Abba, and the Chairman of the Yola North Local Government chapter of the party, Alhaji Salihu Ahmed, practically turned boxers and engaged each other in fistcuffs.

Eyewitnesses claim that a group of party loyalists had converged at the residence of the former Vice President to discuss issues of common interest. However midway into the meeting, an argument erupted between the Chief of Staff and the APC local chairman, and within the twinkle of an eye, they were at each other’s jugular.

The duel reportedly lasted for about five minutes before security operatives were drafted in to maintain peace.
It's believed that the quick intervention of security operatives saved the situation from degenerating into a full blown fight as supporters of the Chief of Staff and the APC Chairman flexed muscles outside the building itching for a showdown.

Moments after the scuffle, the APC chairman hurriedly went on air in local radio station to announce the suspension of the Chief of Staff from the Yola North chapter of the party.

APC both at national and state level needs to Learn from the mistakes of the PDP that allowed itself to be ruined by the selfish interest of a few members.
The warring factions , the Adamawa APC should sheath their sword, unite and give the Adamawa people the CHANGE promised because I don't think fours is a long time.
APC learn from the woos of PDP or risk there fate.
