President Goodluck Jonathan and top leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were yesterday at Onitsha, Anambra State, to kick-off the campaign for Tony Nwoye the PDP candidate in Saturday’s governorship election in the state.

President Jonathan flanked by the national chairman of the party Alhaji Bamanga Turkur as well as other top officials of the party held a mega rally at the Basilica of Most Holy Trinity field, Onitsha.

This is serious, PDP trying to win more states. People of Anambra please vote in PDP lets see what they have to offer

True PDP chances are slim but dont bet on it because they could rig(very slim in Anambra cos they will fight it out) again like they did for Ngige.

Anambra state is either for APGA or APC: Ngige is strong, he has a lot of people voting for him but Anambarians dont like APC, its more of a Yoruba Party and we all know the story. As for APGAs rep Willie Obiano, hes also strong APGA is loved in Anambra because of the work they have done in the past via Peter Obi.
 
@phealip....the Arthur Eze political dynasty that worked for PDP is dead; no hope of resurrection.
So, what structure do they have on ground?
@leo I would love to see how the PDP would rig in hostile territory,without stable party structure.
They should start preparing their legal suits, they may be little hope for them in court....all they need is an old corrupt judge
 
@Jules I have no idea about structures or party options - heck, I have no idea about Anambra state or about which Nigerian will serve best as it's governor.

I asked so I'd know if I can take your opinions as an authority in Anambra politics as it goes to the polls.

...this is me just looking for the flimsiest of excuses to subscribe to thee.
