Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), is all set to succeed Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa state once the need arises.
Ribadu may vie for the Adamawa Governorship seat come 2015 or contest in an earlier election should Nyako's seat become vacant.
According to Nigerian Tribune, Ribadu has been holding several meetings with members of his extended family to gain their support. He allegedly has the blessings of an unnamed Presidential aide who is working hard to close the APC-PDP divide.
