US based journalist, Laolu Akande has been named spokesperson for Nigeria's Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo. Here are 5 things you should know about the Akande.
- Akande is a Pastor. He became a pastor in 2007 at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jesus Friends Assembly in Long Island, New York.
- He is the only Nigerian journalist to have interviewed a sitting American president in the White House. He interviewed George W. Bush.
