The world's largest search engine, has restricted access to a BBC blog posting and several British newspaper stories.

AFP reports that the restriction follows a legal ruling which granted people a right to be "forgotten" in search engines.

Based on Thursday's ruling, individuals now have the right to have links to information about them deleted from searches in certain circumstances, such as if the data is outdated or inaccurate. So far the BBC, Guardian newspaper and Mail Online are among the top sites affected.
