Yesterday we reported a daring robbery in Lekki phase one, which saw the loss of three police lives and three civilian lives with several people rushed to the hospital afterwards.
Governor Fashola has reacted to this by saying that President Jonathan is responsible for the success of the robbery.
According to the Lagos state governor, the president's planned visit to Lagos led to a low number of policemen availalable to tackle the armed robbers.
We also reported earlier that President Jonathan and Buhari arrived Lagos yesterday.
Fashola said: “because Jonathan was coming to Lagos, all the vehicles and police in Lagos were sent to be on standby for him, and there was no available not enough to stop the robbery at Ikoyi-Lekki link bridge” .
