Haiti- born musician, Wyclef Jean has expressed his disappointment at the Super Eagles' failure to qualify for the 30th edition of the African Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
Nigeria's 2-2 against South Africa on Wednesday was not enough for the Super Eagles as they failed to secure qualification for next year's tournament.
"Shocker I am stunned unbelievable the #NGA #SuperEagles are out of #CFA finals in the hand of #RSA #AfricaUnited #Clefication #DivineSorrow" Wyclef Jean wrote on his official Twitter page.
He has a vocal supporter of the Super Eagles, even tweeting a message of support to the team on the last day of qualifiers.
Nigeria by not qualifying for the Nations Cup will not be able to defend their Nations Cup trophy which they won last year.
