Nigeria's Super Eagles today face Chad in the first qualifying match for the 2015 African cup of Nations qualifier.

This is the first time both side will meet at international level.

Venue of the match is at Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.

Good evening and welcome to the live commentaries between Nigeria and Chad at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna. I'm Emmanuel.

We'll be giving you live updates of major events from the match in Kaduna.
 
14' - So far, Chad is co-ordinated. They attack well and Nigeria haven't been able to create goal scoring chances against them.
 
17' - Chad has a chance to score from an attack and the Super Eagles managed to clear if for a corner in the scramble.

The ensuing corner kick comes to naught.
 
20' - Nigeria is finally waking up from their slumber. Musa sends a corner from the right Babatunde which comes to naught.

Minutes later Babatunde manages to dribble away in 18 yard box but couldn't get a cross out.
 
Musa's dangerous free kick is parried away by the Chadian goalkeeper. The ensuing corner kick couldn't find a target.

31' - Here comes Nigeria's first real chance. Leon Balogun connects to Ahmed Musa's corner but it went inches off the goal post. Nice effort.
 
Miss!

34' - Nigeria comes close with another effort. Balogun's across finds Salami couldn't who was stopped by the Chadian goalkeeper. Nice goalkeeping
 
36' - Chad's Kasma (no 19) gets a Yellow card for handling the ball.

Almost in!

38' - Vincent Enyeama had to pull off a fine safe after Balogun fumbles with his header. Two Chadian players managed to get on to the ball with single touches. Enyeama was up to the task, quickly diving to prevent the ball from going in.
 
48' - Gbolahan Salami makes a run down the right side of Les Sao backline, his long range effort saved by Chadian goalkeeper Dillah.
 
Hits the Woodwork!

55' - Nigeria gets a free kick at the edge of the Chadian 18 yard box. Aaron Samuel takes it and it rattles the cross back. Close.
 
GOAL!

62' - Gbolahan Salami
puts Nigeria ahead. He cuts in from the right side, faces the Chadian goalkeeper and fires a shot into a difficult angle for the him. Nice.
 
Penalty to Nigeria, Onazi Red Carded

Odion Igahlo makes an attacking move but brought down by defender Asselmo. Ogenyi Onazi meanwhile has been sent off for a careless challenge on a Chad.
