Sports African Women Championship: Super Falcons will beat Cameroon- Uche Eucharia

Former Super Falcons coach, Uche Eucharia has expressed her confidence in the ability of the Nigerian team to beat Cameroon in the finals of the African Women's Championship taking place in Namibia.

The Super Falcons defeated Cameroon 5-0 in the 2004 edition of the championship, and Eucharia is expecting the Falcons to repeat the same classic performance in the final of the 2014 edition ongoing in Namibia.

"I think history will repeat itself in the final, but we’re not overtly worried about their quality.”

"The Coach should expect a very physical, tactical and difficult Cameroon, they’ll always pose a strong challenge and it won’t be a stroll in the park for the Falcons. Regardless, the Super Falcons will come out victorious,” the 2010 AWC title winning coach said.

She advised the head coach of the team, Edwin Okon to expect physicality from the Cameroonians, but believed its not enough for the Nigerian women not to bring the title home," the former Nigerian player was quoted as saying on footballlive.ng
