There are strong indications that players like Ikechukwu Uche,Obafemi Martins and some others will be making a return to the Super Eagles national team.
Both players have not played for Nigeria in over a year, after being overlooked by former manager Stephen Keshi.
However, reports have emerged that new coach Amodu Shaibu could recall them for the qualifiers against Congo and South Africa.
Also expected to be handed an invite will be Kelechi Iheanacho whom Keshi said that it was not yet time for him to step up to the Super Eagles.
Many have been clamouring for the inclusion of Iheanacho in the Super Eagles team, to mould him into becoming the creative hub of the team, especially as John Obi Mikel is failing in that regards.
Although it is not going to be a wholesale change in the Super Eagles team last invited by Keshi, at least six new players are expected to be called up by Amodu.
