AbdulAziz Omeiza Aliyu, the All Progressives Congress, APC Governorship candidate for Kogi state is dead; PREMIUM TIMES reports.
The APC candidate and his younger brother, Salmanu Aliyu,died in a fatal road accident at Jere town along Kaduna – Abuja federal highway on Saturday, March 14th.
Shedding light on the sad incident, a family spokesperson said, ''Omeiza (the late politician’s son) spoke with his father around 1.30 p.m. on Saturday few minutes before the ill fated journey. We received the shocking and sad news of his demise from samaritans at the scene of the accident''.
The All Progressives Congress, APC is yet to release an official statement on the demise of their Kogi gubernatorial candidate.
