The Osun State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC), on Wednesday, said it has uncovered plans by the Minister of Police Affairs and his counterpart in the Defence, Jelili Adesiyan and Musilu Obanikoro, respectively, to rig the August 9 governorship election in favour of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
This, the party said, will be done through heavy deployment of soldiers to the state on that day.
Addressing newsmen in Osogbo on Wednesday, the state acting Chairman of the party, Adebiyi Adelowo, said it has consequently written a letter to President Goodluck Jonathan on the danger of the plot.
