The two leading candidates in Bayelsa state Governorship election have gone spiritual.
According to DAILY TRUST, incumbent governor and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Seriake Dickson and that All Progressives Congress (APC), Timipre Sylva have taken their electoral campaigns to Calabar, Cross River State capital for spiritual backing.
An Impeccable sources at the world headquarters of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, Calabar confirmed that Sylva met with its leader Olumba Olumba Obu and pleaded for divine intervention to emerge victorious. Sylva reportedly assured Obu of undisclosed appreciation, especially as the religious leader was embarking on building project known as “Olumba Supreme Temple.”
On his part, Dickson was reported to have sent a team to the Brotherhood headquarters too.
