Twitter, a social media website, has taken down the account belonging to the Boko Haram group.
The twitter account had posted 19 tweets before it was deleted on Tuesday. The account had proagated hate messages from the sect and its leader, Abubakar Shekau.

The last tweet before its removal showed the group boasting of having control over Baga town, which the Nigerian military says is now back under governmental control.
The sect also shared images of its attack on Gombe two weeks ago.
