NEW AFRICAN has released a list of 100 Most Influential Africans of 2014. President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria did not make it into the list.

The list includes ; Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau and former Minister of Education and champion of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign, Obiageli Ezekwesili.

Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote; National leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu and Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II also made the list.

Four African heads of state; President Uhuru Kenyatta, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi of Egypt, President Idriss Déby of Chad and President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda were also featured in the list.

The full list is expected to hit news stands on Tuesday.
