Archbishop Anthony Obinna, Catholic Bishop of Owerri Archdiocese has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of sectionalism.
According to THE UNION Newspaper, speaking ahead of the 2015 Odenigbo Annual Lecture series at the Maria Assumpta Cathederal, Owerri, Archbishop Obinna said based on the his actions in the last three months, Buhari still needed to shed off his military background, adding that the president was still learning how to be democratic.
''Buhari should know that this country has left the military era where the head of state can do anything without caring about whose ox is gored. He is still behaving like a soldier and being sectionalist and not nationalistic as somebody had said earlier. We are praying for him and expect that he will change his stance on other sections of the country, the Archbishop said.
