The peace brokered between the FG and members of the Boko Haram sect has split the insurgent group in two, with one in favor of peace talks, and the other insistent on warring.

This was gathered by the PUNCH newspaper on Sunday, and it is believed that the FG is merely in peace discussions with the Boko Haram sect that wants to stop hostilities in the North-East.

A source in Abuja said that the leaders of the sect in favor of peace were the ones who began negotiating with represenatives from Chad, Cameroon and Nigeria in Ndjamena, Chad, the previous week.

On Tuesday, it is believed the FG and Boko Haram would straighten out further details in their ceasefire provisional agreement.
