Cable News Network (CNN) International has stopped airing APC’s campaign advert on its international nature. This, it says, was done due to the political nature of the message.
The “Change for Democracy” campaign had already been aired on Thursday, despite CNN’s blanket ban on political and religious advertising on the network.
CNN says it aired it in error – contrary to the initial belief that the APC ad had been approved because it didn’t explicitly canvass votes.
