A Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State has ordered Senator Ali Modu Sheriff to stop parading himself as National chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

DAILY POST reports that giving the interim judgement, , Justice A.M.Liman also ordered that all members of the National Working Committee of the party sacked during the Saturday’s convention should not submit their names to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as officers or candidates of the party pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice brought by the Party.
The injunction also ordered that the newly constituted National Caretaker Committee headed by former Governor of Kaduna State, Sen. Ahmed Markarfi be recognized by INEC .
