Sports Continental Competitions: Kano Pillars, Warri Wolves And Dolphins Go Through To The Next Stage

Three Nigerian clubsides, Kano Pillars, Warri Wolves and Dolphins have all progressed to the next round of their continental engagements after securing victories on Saturday.

Kano Pillars capitalised on their away victory in the first leg, beating Al-Malakia of South Sudan 3-0 (5-0 aggregate score) to go through in the CAF Champions League competition.

There was no arguing where the game was going to tilt to, with the Nigerian champions dominating the encounter.

Pillars got off to a good start and made sure they sustained their impressive form, having no difficulties dispatching Malakia to go through.

Meanwhile in the Confederations Cup, both Warri Wolves and Dolphins have confirmed their places in the next round of games.

Wolves defeated Burkina Faso's RCB and has now gone on the next stage of the competition.

Before the match, there were talks about players of Warri Wolves boycotting the game over the non-payment of their bonus. However it was recified and they took to the pitch, beating RCB 3-0.

The other Nigerian team to join the party is Dolphins of Port Harcourt who defeated Vegetarianos (agg 1-1 and going through 5-3 on penalties).

Enyimba will be the last Nigerian team in action, travelling away to Buffles du Borgou .
