In a Nigeria where every Governor is trying to out-scream the other with empty treasury claims, Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River on Tuesday said that he did not inherit empty treasury from the immediate past administration in the state.
According to THE GUARDIAN, Ayade said this in Calabar while briefing stakeholders, including the media, on his development agenda for the state.
