Manchester City will be without midfielder, David Silva who has been sidelined with an injury that will see out for action for almost a month.
The Spanish international copped a knee injury in his side's 2-0 defeat against Newcastle United in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday.
He is now expected to miss this weekend's Premier League derby against neighbours Manchester United.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini revealed that Silva is expected to be out for at least the next four weeks, ruing the playmaker's absence.
"David is a very important player but we have a squad and we will have to replace him with another player," says Pellegrini.
