Nigeria: The Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara, has said he is ready to accept the resolution of reached by the APC NEC today in the interest of party cohesion and discipline, Daily Trust reports.
“The speaker is very willing to accept any resolution reached by the party NEC in the spirit of party discipline and loyalty,” an official said.
“The speaker has promised to fully align himself with his party’s positions today,”
Dogara had rooted for a House with ‘nationalist character,’ that would ensure each of the 6 political zones produced a member and promised to align fully with his party’s position, the official added.
