The Ekiti State Police command has successfully rescued 10 persons from kidnappers, VANGUARD reports. This is contained In a statement released by the Force PRO, Ag. CP Emmanuel Ojukwu.
Mr Ojukwu mentioned that this development is the result of a special operation ordered by IGP Solomon Arase. The 10 victims were rescued this morning from the hands of kidnappers. The rescued victims are currently being debriefed and receiving medical attention.
Some of the kidnappers are said to have been arrested and the operation is still ongoing.
