Sports Ex Nigerian goalkeeper Wilfred Agbonavbare sick with cancer and in need of financial help

Former Nigeria international goalkeeper Wilfred Agbonavbare is battling to save his life with cancer.

The ex- Rayo Vallecano of Spain shot-stopper is said to be in need of urgent financial help in order to remedy his health situation which is deteriorating.

According to an article published on Spanish daily, Marca, Wilfred is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital in Florida hospital in USA.

The embattled goalkeeper was part of Clemens Westerhof's victorious team that won the 1994 Nations Cup tournament in Tunisia and also got to the second of the World Cup tournament that year.

He made his mark in the Nigerian league with the defunct New Nigeria Bank, and also played for BCC Lions of Gboko..

He left the Nigerian league in 1990 and moved to Spain.
