Manchester United have decided not to make Radamel Falcao's loan deal from Monaco a permanent one, BBC reports.
The Colombian, who missed Sunday's 0-0 draw with Hull because of injury, scored just four goals in 29 matches.
United did not take up a reported £43.2m option to buy the 29-year-old, who failed to net in his last 13 games.
"Falcao is a top professional and a good human being. I would like to wish him well for the future," Coach Luis Van Gaal said via the club's website.
