Lewis Hamilton is not getting carried away about the prospects of winning the 2014 Formula One title.
The Mercedes driver is leading the pack on the table and 17 points ahead of his teammate Nico Rosberg, who is his closest rival on the table.
And Hamilton, revealed that he cannot get too excited about his chances this season, although he acknowledged that he worked hard to be at the summit of the table.
The British driver needs to win three races to be crowned champion this season.
In his column for BBC Sport, Hamilton wrote: "The world championship is coming to its climax now, with three races in four weekends, but I can't get too excited about it.
"I've managed to build a 17-point lead. I don't think it's to do with luck. I have kind of turned it up a notch. Through the year, you have to keep doing that, keep applying new pressure.
"I don't feel any tension or excitement at the moment. Each day is just another day."
