The Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, has confirm the recent announcement of a removal in fuel subsidy.
Kachiku said that the decision was informed by the outcome of a stakeholders meeting held with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo
The minister said that the government ‘expect that the new policy will lead to improved supply and competition and eventually drive down pump prices as we have experienced with diesel.’
