Jonathan Okeremute, a Nigerian author, has emerged winner of the Nigerian Film Corporation, NFC, competition on children’s animation and film project in script writing. This is contained in a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja by the NFC’s Head of Public Affairs, Brian Etuk.

The project, which was initiated by NFC, has the mandate of providing the lead in the production of animation films that will take care of the positive entertainment needs of the Nigerian child. The statement said that Okeremute’s script emerged from a group of seven other entries received, having met the requirements for the project.
