Former governor of Benue, Senator George Akume last weekend donated a giant fish to Senator Shehu Sani, representing Kaduna Central at Tudun Wada, Kaduna South LGA.
Akume, who chairs the Senate Committee on Army, was among senators who attended the seven days fidau prayers of Senator Sani’s mother, Hajia Fatima, who died penultimate Saturday.
When Akume’s aides brought out the fish from the car, the attention of residents, clerics and dignitaries present at the prayers were shifted to it.
The fish was lifted by two men and soon residents were taking photographs with their mobile phones.
