Mr Adeyemi Ikuforiji, the Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, on Sunday expressed dissatisfaction at the distribution of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in the state.

``It is not only sad but totally unacceptable.

``It was not funny at all; first, INEC said it would distribute the PVCs to only 11 out of the old 20 local government areas of our state for three days.

``At the end of it all, it was confusion all the way,’’ he said.

He said he collected his PVC on Saturday at a distribution centre opposite the Police College in Ikeja after being unable to obtain it the previous day due to absence of INEC officials.

Also, a House of Representatives member, Mr Lanre Odubote, has expressed worry about the postponement of the Personal Voter's Card (PVC) distribution in some council areas in Lagos State.

Odubote, who represents Epe Federal Constituency, said the postponement was inessential since the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had scheduled PVC distribution in the state several months ago.

"It is an indication of the lack of capacity on the part of INEC.

''INEC should ensure that Lagosian is disenfranchised and particularly in Epe.

''Voter’s card is being given to all Nigerians of voting age, nobody should be denied theright ... everything should be done to ensure credible 2015 polls,” Odubote said.
