Tony Blair, former British Prime Minister has confirmed that he met with Muhammadu Buhari,presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC on Saturday.
Over the weekend, supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP and President Goodluck Jonathan had accused the APC of photoshopping pictures showing Buhari and Blair.
However, on Monday Blair's office confirmed the meeting.
Rainne Butter, a contact person in Blair's office said, ''Mr. Blair had a private meeting with General Muhammadu Buhari in London,”
''Mr. Blair hopes to visit Nigeria shortly when he will see the President''.
