Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, Ikechukwu Uche, has expressed happiness after extending his contract at Villarreal until 2017.
Uche, who joined the Yellow Submarine in 2011 from Zaragoza has been in fine form for the La Liga outfit, and hopes to continue to give the club his best while still at the club.
The 30-year old forward has scored four La Liga goals this season, and has been a focal point in their attack with his contributions for the team
"I feel very happy for my renewal with @VillarrealCF until 2017! I will do my best to help the team! #Endavant " he wrote on his official twitter handle.
And the club responded by saying : " @ikeuche9 We're very happy too, Ike! So good to have such a great player and outstanding person aboard for another 2 years! #Uche2017
The Super Eagles striker further added: "Proud to defend this jersey until 2017! Thanks to @VillarrealCF club, fans, teammates and staff! God bless you all!
