In readiness for the 2015 general election and the #Ekiti and #Osun State governorship elections slated for June and August this year respectively, the Independent National Electoral Commission (#INEC) has said notwithstanding the rejection of e-voting by the National Conference Committee on Technology that e-voting would not be completely ruled out in subsequent elections.
INEC disclosed this at a seminar yesterday where it said the commission had finalised plans to deploy card readers to be used during the 2015 as well as in Ekiti and Osun governorship elections.
INEC also said the electoral management body had equally concluded plans to produce Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) for all registered eligible voters.
