The Deputy National Secretary, Labour Party (LP), Mr Tunde Ayelabola in an interview with reporters in Abuja on Friday said that security challenges in the country were too enormous to be left in the hands of security agents alone.
According to him series of attacks in the country can only be surmounted through resistance of insurgency by all Nigerians and not leaving it to security agents alone.
"Vigilante members in Maiduguri are worthy of emulating because they are joining the security agents in the search of abducted secondary school girls in the state,” he said.
The party chieftain also suggested the need for military training to be integrated into the National Youth Service Corps in the country.
This according to him will increase strong resistance against terrorism and other crimes in the country.
