The NSCDC in Jigawa have arrested three men caught trying to pull out the baby from the womb of an eight month pregnant woman at Gusau quarters, Gumel LGA.
The men are: Adamu Usman Barma, 31; Fawas Bala, 28; and Buhari Ahmed, 29. They are said the be the lovers of the 20-year old woman.
According the Dr. Muhammed Gidado, State commandant of NSCDC, when his officers got to the scene, one of the men held the pregnant woman by the neck, another her legs and the third one attempted to pull out the baby.
He said the woman, named Maryam Muhammed, is currently on admission at a hospital, and confessed to having affairs with the three men.
The three men on their part said the pregnancy belonged to them and they had told her to abort it, but she refused.
