Former FCT Minister and All Progressives Congress, APC gubernatorial candidate for Kaduna state on Sunday said that President Goodluck Jonathan is prepared to start a war in order to stay in office beyond 2015.
According to PREMIUM TIMES, El-Rufai made the statement while addressing journalists during a courtesy call to the correspondent chapel, Kaduna.
El-Rufai said, "Jonathan is leading the country into war in order not to have election in 2015 so he can enjoy additional six months or thereabouts as stipulated in the constitution. But we will not allow that to happen.
"Everybody in PDP is on his own. Whereas, in APC, we are working together in unity as a party, from counsellor to president".
Speaking on the Kaduna governorship race, the former FCT minister said he was able to address the challenges facing the state.
