On Tuesday, nine governors of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP shunned the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Organisation of the party in Abuja; PUNCH reports.
The absentee governors included; Idris Wada (Kogi), Ibrahim Shema (Katsina), Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Jonah Jang (Plateau), Theodore Orji (Abia), Dr. Olusegun Mimiko(Ondo), Sullivan Chime (Enugu), Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa) and Martin Elechi (Enugu) were absent.
Governors present at the event included; Emmanuel Uduaghan (Delta), Gabriel Suswam (Benue), Isa Yuguda (Bauchi), James Ngilari (Adamawa), Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Ibrahim Dankwambo (Gombe) and Godswill Akpabio(Akwa Ibom)
The Goodluck Jonathan campaign organisation is headed by former National Chairman of the party, Senator Amadu Ali.
