Sports LEAKY Manchester United beaten 5-3 by Leicester City

Manchester United might have an impressive firepower in attack but they realised how weak they are in defence after they were beaten 5-3 by Leicester City.

United have frailties in defence but the manner they were stunned by the foxes was astounding.

It was a performance that beggared belief considering that United had the upper hand up until the 62nd minute.

United although might feel hard done by some of the refereeing decisions, but they made errors that cost them dearly in the game.

Robin Van Persie,Radamel Falcao all started the game for United with Juan Mata dropping to the bench.

And it was that combination that got the first goal,Falcao picked out a perfect cross that Van Persie headed into the net.

Angel Di Maria dipped in a spectacular second goal and United were rolling from then.

Fernando Ulloa headed one back for Leicester, although it looked as though the cross that came to him had crossed the line.

But there was no fears about United's dominance when Ander Herrera side-footed in a third goal.

Leicesters' turnaround started when Rafael gave away a penalty and David Nugent belted in the kick to reduce the deficit.

United then went to sleep and Esteban Cambiassio leveled for the Foxes when he drilled in a third goal.

It was not what United expected and it showed when they were caught off-guard on the break and Jamie Vardy who has been impressive all afternoon slotted in the fourth goal.

United's misery was further compounded when Tyler Blackett gave away a penalty and was subsequently sent off.

Ulloa scored his second goal and sealed victory for his side as they stunned United with a 5-3 win.

It is the first time that Leicester will be defeating Manchester United since 1985 and the first time in the Premier League that United have thrown away a two goal lead to lose.

Van Gaal would have noticed that for all their attacking prowess, they are very lightweight in defence.
