Reports reaching Nigerian Bulletin says that some card readers are reportedly failing to read voters' print because the protective film on the lense of the reader had not been removed.

INEC chairman Prof. Attahiru Jega has appeared on AIT saying voters whose fingerprints couldn't be read should fill an Incidence Report Form, after which they'll be accredited.

However most Polling Units have inadequate Incident Report Forms.

Abnormalities in Imo State, Information Commissioner Arrested

There are unconfirmed reports of soldiers shooting at voters in Oru East, Imo State for insisting that materials should be completed before elections begin.

The story is still fuzzy but it seems the state's commissioner of Information, Engr. Chidi Ibe has been beaten and arrested for insisting to see the result sheet after the card reader says "election complete".

The same issue was experienced elsewhere in the state.
