Three goals from Efe Ambrose, Moses Simon and Odion Ighalo put the eagles on winning ways after their disappointing outing against DR Congo.

Sunday Oliseh's side broke the deadlock just before the halftime break when Efe Ambrose rose highest to head home John Obi Mikel's free-kick.

Cameroon got off to the worst possible start in the second half when Stephane Mbia was shown a straight red card for a challenge on Sylvester Igbonu.

Nigeria made their numerical advantage count and doubled their advantage in the 61st minute when Moses Simon slotted home from close range, following a swift counter-attacking move.

The Super Eagles rounded off the scoring the 88th minute when in-form Watford striker, Odion Ighalo, headed home Echiejile's cross from the left.

Sunday Oliseh's side were more improved and coordinated and dominated the match from the blast of the whistle.
