The federal government of Nigeria has launched N-Power, a job creation and empowerment initiative aimed at Nigerians aged between 18 to 35 years.
According to the Presidency, N-Power addresses the challenge of youth unemployment by providing a structure for large scale and relevant work skills acquisition and development. The modular programmes under N-Power will ensure that each participant will learn and practice all that is necessary to find or create work, it added.
The Presidency said N-Power has three main segments. There's a Teacher Corps segment under which 500,000 Nigerians would be employed as teachers for 2 years. There's also a Knowledge segment and a Build segment under the program.
Interested people can visit http://www.npower.gov.ng to register and get more information about the program.
