The PDP reportedly had a meeting yesterday to pre-empt the defection of the Alhaji Ahmed Musa Ibeto, but it appears to have failed as the PUNCH has reported that he has gone ahead with the defection. His defection is expected to be followed by the mass defection of other PDP faithfuls.

He is reportedly at the Minna airport where he would receive Buhari (who is expected to campaign in the town today.)
