Nigeria- Gov. Muktar Yero of Kaduna State on Saturday identified investment in education as one of the major paths to national growth.
He made the observation at the disbursement of "Study Fellowship Honourary Award" to less-privileged members of the society, held at the Ameer Shehu Idris College of Advance Studies, Zaria.
Yero observed that ``quality of education lies in the ability to have qualified teachers who can effectively inculcate knowledge on their pupils.
"No matter how much you invest in education, you cannot see the result immediately until about 10 to 15 years later.
"Education is second to security in terms of priority in this administration and let me assure you that we will continue to invest in education," he said
