Sports Nigeria won't qualify for 2015 Nations Cup: Congo coach confident they will beat the Super Eagles

Congo national team coach, Claude Le Roy is confident that they will defeat Nigeria and qualify for the 2015 African Nations Cup tournament.

Nigeria will travel to Brazaville next month for the all important clash against the Congolese, which could make or mar their qualification hopes.

The Super Eagles are currently third in the group, and have just four points after four matches in the group.

While Congo is second in the group with seven points, trailing South Africa who occupy the top spot with eight points.

And Le Roy is confident that they will beat the Super Eagles and end their qualification hopes.

“I am sure that we will qualify for next year’s AFCON because we are not going to lose at home to Nigeria. I am confident that we will beat Nigeria, which will guarantee our place in next year’s AFCON," Le Roy told Radio France International.

“The magic for us was beating Nigeria in Calabar. That result was so crucial for us and we are not going to let our effort go in vain when Nigeria come to Congo”, added Le Roy.
