The Enugu State Police Command had arrested six notorious bandits that have been terrorizing the residents of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of the State.
Mr Ebere Amaraizu, the command’s spokesman revealed on Monday that items recovered from the bandits included locally made guns and two short axes.
He said that other items recovered were TV sets, DVDs, standing fans, six handsets suspected to have been stolen from their victims.
Amaraizu said that the gang was rounded up by the police following a tip-off from some members of the public.
“Their activities ranges from armed robbery and burglary among others,’’ he said.
