Rommel Emenike, a Rivers state Monarch has warned former President Olusegun Obasanjo to desist from his ceaseless criticism of President Goodluck Jonathan.

According to DAILY INDEPENDENT, Emenike said he was shocked to read from the newspapers that Obasanjo could come out in the public to call Jonathan a corrupt leader when the Amnesty International had labeled his administration one of the most corrupt government in the world.

"Obasanjo is a case of kettle calling the pot black. Obasanjo was president for eight years and he made himself the substantive Minister of Petroleum for that period, our economy did not get any better. What is his justification of coming out to call Jonathan a corrupt leader!

"Obasanjo pretended to fight corruption when he was in power but was selective in doing so. How many politicians did he send to jail on the case of corruption? Several governors under his watch were accused of corruption by the EFCC, what happened to those governors?".

Calling on Nigerians to support President Jonathan, Eminike said, "Whatever is happening in Nigeria today is the fulfillment of prophecy. Jonathan is the will of God for this country at this time. Against the thinking of the people, Nigeria will not break up in 2015".
