Adamu Mu'azu, National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has described stories of former President Olusegun Obasanjo's endorsement of Muhammadu Buhari, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC as a 'rumour'.
According to LEADERSHIP, during a news briefing in Abuja, Mu'azu said, ''I consider that a rumour. I know he is more sagacious and experienced than that, and I have no doubt in my mind that he still remains not just our party member but one of our revered party leaders in PDP.
''And if you recall his last letter to the president, he was totally against anti-party (activities). I have no doubt that he would want to practise anti-party (activities) himself, unless I see and confirm beyond reasonable doubt that he said it. I am not holding brief for him but I know he will not engage in anti-party (activities).
''Because from my record he is still in my party and I am sure he will not associated himself with the destruction of the very house he has built.
